graphic design : philosophy
··············································

Graphic design is the language that conveys not just information, but ideas, concepts and emotions as well. While the message may be textual, the mode in which it is delivered is visual. Without a strong, concise visual, it's all just black text on a white page.

In a rush to make their designs stand out, many graphic designers "over design." It's the visual equivalent of tripping over your own feet, and that's not my style.

My design style favors a crisp, clean approach. Strong lines, smooth curves and uncluttered layouts. Less is always more. I studied graphic design at Parson's School of Design, and Journalism and Photography at Rutgers University, and I draw on all of those areas to create designs that are strong in word, in picture and in overall layout.

I am a firm believer that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which is why I like to work in a collaborative environment with my clients. A great design is useless if it doesn't properly convey the client's message. I am always open to input from my clients, and I work very closely with them to ensure that the final design is reflective of their needs and goals.
